Royal Museum comes to Chinatown

The Royal BC Museum in Victoria is opening a “satellite gallery” in Chinatown’s oldest building.
Realtor Bob Rennie will be donating his stunning private art gallery to the museum for summer shows to run between June 15 and Labour Day. The inaugural show will be The Other Emily, an exhibition about the young Emily Carr that is currently on display at the museum in Victoria.

Movie theatre announced as anchor tenant at Marine Gateway!

The first major tenant has been named for the new Marine Gateway development at Marine Drive and Cambie Street in south Vancouver. Cineplex Entertainment announced plans to build a new movie theatre complex at the location. The complex will feature 11 screens consisting of seven traditional auditoriums, one UltraAVX (an enhanced audio-visual experience) auditorium and three VIP auditoriums.
